While there is really an island in China with the same name, the one described in Louis Cha’s novels is slightly different. Famous due to Guo Jing, the father figure for one-armed hero Yang Guo in Return of the Condor Heroes, this is not a place for the timid in Age of Wushu.
Upon stepping on the island, players must weave through the main defensive system, a gigantic maze of nature with 8 different themes. Only by passing through this can anyone get to the faction’s main location, and not many has managed to done so.
In Age of Wushu, this faction is skilled at making masks, and there are 7 types to obtain. Each gives different effects, and the masks can be given to friends as well. A master at escaping skills and both close/ long range attacks, the main weapons include the jade flute and normal sword.
All the 8 new factions, weather system and more will be added in the mega content update on 8th August for the China server. Jet Li, the global spokesperson for Age of Wushu, once again features in the expansion poster seen below.
