As you can see in the image below, the final American spokesperson for RIFT China was revealed to be American Idol alumni, Adam Lambert. After NBA star Dwayne Wade representing American sports, actress Maggie Q representing American media, Adam Lambert is representing American music.
RIFT China’s publisher, Shanda Games, is spending millions to promote the game on how big and successful it is in the Western market, particularly North America. With this, the company hopes to attract the China players to the game. I doubt most of the gamers know who the spokesperson are, though. RIFT China enters Open Beta on 6th March, with a P2P model for the commercial phase.
