Kritika – A brief look at the tutorial stages

With SimCity giving me tons of bugs and problems, I though it would be a good time to give Kritika a short run, thanks to the account of a newly acquired ninja. I only played till level 10, and thought it would be meaningless to continue since I would rather enjoy the game in English… The videos below shows only the tutorial stages.

Combat in Kritika is not entirely twitch-based like Dragon Net’s, since characters can’t swing their weapons or attack while on the move. I normally loath this, but the skills’ cool-downs were so fast, I actually wasn’t really bothered by it.

I didn’t enjoy playing as the Mage, and while the female Rogue has speedy attacks and moves fast, the Warrior is definitely my favorite. Moving slower than the other 2 classes, the damage Warrior deals is incredible, and the big swords does help in boosting morale when facing a bigger group of monsters.

Character customization is available from the start, though most of the options are pretty basic. Not complaining though, I am totally digging the black and white combination. Costumes in the game, from what I observed, do not change unless special ones (from events of cash shop I guess) are worn, while weapons’ skins certainly does change.

Kritika is currently only due for China as its first overseas server, with no English version announced thus far.
