Wargaming – Developer sets up direct presence in Southeast Asia

Guided in its first steps into the regional market by SEA Gaming, a game publishing company based in Singapore and Malaysia, Wargaming gained valuable marketing expertise necessary to publish and operate Word of Tanks and its upcoming projects directly in that region.

The free-to-play MMO action game World of Tanks was published in Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines and Thailand in May of 2012. The thrilling PvP gameplay, convenient payment options, region specific localization and high-level customer support services enabled Wargaming to capture a solid share of the Southeast Asian market.
The recent launch of a Singapore-based server group has drastically improved the gaming environment for players in the region and spurred the growing popularity of World of Tanks.
