Initially starting out as a project by a team of 4, Hawken has seen much business improvements and media exposure over the past few years. Developed by Unreal Engine 3,this futuristic steel behemoth of a game not only has a live action movie coming in 2013, but a deal for the lucrative China market was also announced in the Chinese media. Hawken launches for the English market on 12th December 2012 (12/12/12).
The publisher will be KongZhong, also the publisher for PvP-centric games such as World of Tanks and the upcoming World of Warplanes and World of Warships. KongZhong also recently announced a deal for the China server of Offensive Combat, a web-based FPS developed by former development members of Call of Duty.
