According to Korean media, Eyasoft, developer and publisher of Korean games including Luna Online, Iris Onlin, Legend of Edda and Mo Siang Online (or Dark Story Online), announced its decision to halt its game services from 1st June 2011. The closure of the games’ cash shop and registration will also be taken down in due time. A company statement said that it will only take a temporary break, something which they had mulled over for the past few months as they seek to re-organize the company and improve on their games’ development process and content. a notice has already been placed on all affected games’ websites.
Do note that this will only affect the Korean servers, all overseas servers will still be operating as normal. This really came as a shock to me, as LUNA Online is a really awesome chibi game and with Luna Plus, it seems the game will only have good times coming. Whatever the main reason is, I am glad they are not closing down…
