First announced back in June, the Yulgang IP was first licensed to Nexon, which then tasked indie Korean studio Actfive to develop a mobile game out of it. The result is Yulgang M, which entered Closed Beta a couple of days ago in South Korea. The game is actually a side-scroll hack and slash title, with players able to choose from 2 of the main characters, with the other 2 currently locked.
The storyline is said to follow closely to the original manhwa (Korean comics), which players can even unlock as they progress through Yulgang M’s many gameplay chapters. The gacha system is mainly reserved for costumes, which appears to add minimal stats to characters. We have yet to experience the PVP system, but it is available in the game. Yulgang M is different from Yulgang Mobile.
