[Source] If my memory serves me right, this will be the 2nd time Legend of Edda will be shutting down under the same publisher. Once a very popular anime-style game, GamesCampus will be closing the server on 22nd January 2014.
According to an official forum post, the reasons include “the current game service is not providing the proper gaming experience and support to our fans” and “hacking attempts, gold purchasing, and game crashing created an unstable gaming environment”.
Korean developer Eyasoft, which was revived last year with Nexon’s minor injection of cash, seems to have abandoned the game as well in its native country, with no news seen on the various gaming websites.
