While we do like anime-style games no matter the platform, we found ourselves deceived by the gorgeous artwork most often than not. We do feel that is the case for Echocalypse, a new mobile anime RPG which was recently made available in the SEA region by publisher Yoozoo Games (via GTarcade). In essence, this is yet another great-looking character-collection RPG, but it brings nothing exciting to the plate.
Overall, Echocalypse feels almost like a budget version of Alchemy Stars, which we feel is vastly superior. In the end, not much time was invested into playing, but you can see the gameplay below and give it a shot yourselves!
