GetAmped was a really popular PC fighting game back in the days in Asia, perhaps even more than console series such as Street Fighters and Tekken. I can’t remember when the game started to decline, but after a few attempts on mobile, the franchise seemingly disappeared from the public. Today, the creators of GetAmped CyberStep (Japan) and a little-known studio known as KM BOX (Korea) announced they are co-developing GetAmped Fighters, a mobile game which will stay true to the brawler-action combat found in the PC version.
It was mentioned that Closed Beta begins later this month in Korea, with a focus on testing the multiplayer PVP mode and character costumes. An official launch is expected for later this year, although there is no word on an overseas launch. Stay tuned for updates!
