Last week, NCsoft showcased a “TJ’s Letter” developer video, highlighting the achievements accomplished by Lineage W thus far since launching in several regions. While also touching on the future, the most important reveal was the game’s first IP collaboration with BERSERK, a classic and beloved manga/ anime series created by the late Kentaro Miura.
A dark fantasy story featuring iconic characters such as the protagonist Guts, BERSERK has sold over 50 million manga copies worldwide during its lifetime. Personally, I do really do feel that the IP is a perfect fit for the setting and world of Lineage W. Content from both the BERSERK anime and BERSERK: The Golden Age Arc movie will be used.
