Last week at Tokyo Game Show 2021, SEGA officially announced the follow-up mobile RPG to Chain Chronicle, titled Sin Chronicle. It is not labeled as a direct sequel, as Sin Chronicle takes place in a new world with a brand new set of characters as well. However, some elements from the original game will remain, including combat systems and also the magical book, Chronicle. SEGA claims this will be the “ultimate RPG,” but we shall see.
According to SEGA, each chapter of the game is expected to be around 10 hours long. Pre-registration for Sin Chronicle has started in Japan, with an official launch also confirmed for December 15, 2021. There is no news for an overseas server, and seeing how Chain Chronicles was poorly managed previously for the English version, I guess SEGA is taking precaution. Stay tuned for updates!
