Way back in 2009, MUX was first teased in this blog. Developed by China company The9, the game was set to storm the online gaming world in the country. However, the company soon went into deep trouble due to losing the rights for World of Warcraft China, with earnings taking a major hit as it depended mainly on the game.
Having learnt its lesson, The9 had a change in upper management, with a few development studios acquired to kick-start its own projects. Many thought that MUX will be canned forever, but the teaser website got refreshed recently with yet another teaser, sporting a brand new logo and a date, 22nd April.
