Million Arthur is a Square Enix IP which might be unfamiliar with most gamers, and those who know of it mostly have just heard of it but not play any of the games. Chinese developer Perfect World has developed several mobile titles based on this IP, and the next one is currently known as “Codename MA,” a true sequel to the previous titles such as Rebellious Million Arthur.
Perfect World Games announced recently that the first beta test begins in China next month (January 2023) on both Android and PC platforms. A return to the classic turn-based RPG format, players will need to form decks of spells and abilities, along with many unique characters, to progress through the game.
Characters in this franchise are all known as “Arthurs”, with examples such as Mercenary Arthur, Tycoon Arthur, Songstress Arthur and so on. It is likely that Codename MA, like its predecessors, stays just in China. Stay tuned for updates!
