First announced just as Black Clover Mobile back in December 2021, developer VIC Game Studios today announced the official launch name for this open-world RPG, Black Clover Mobile: The Opening of Fate. If you did not already know, VIC Game Studios is a subsidiary under Pearl Abyss, the creator of the Black Desert franchise.
Based on the popular Japanese manga and anime, the name was chosen due to players starting on their own journeys to find their destinies, similar to protagonist Asta in the source material. The subtitle, The Opening of Fate, is colored in red to represent Asta’s skill color as well. Set to launch worldwide, the game has already ended a Focus Group Test (FGT) in Korea, Japan, USA, Taiwan, and Thailand. Closed Beta is next, so stay tuned!
