After taking the Asian territories by storm, Netmarble is ready to launch Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds for the global audience this summer! A collaboration project with Level-5 (Inazuma Eleven, Yokai Watch) and Studio Ghibli (Princess Mononoke, Castle in the Sky), the game’s music is scored by the famous Joe Hisaishi. There were already 5 previous games made using the worldview of Ni no Kuni, but none were of the MMORPG genre and developed for mobile phones.

Taking place in the same world, Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds follows gamers into a fictional VR game called Soul Diver, which transports them to the world of Ni no Kuni. While this world is said to be virtual, it was eventually discovered to be a real one which is linked to the gamers’ world. Dark plots are happening behind the scenes to destroy the peace between both worlds, and it is up to players to stop total destruction from happening.
We previously tried out the Taiwanese server of Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds, and found the world to be overall super charming and interesting. You should not be expecting anything ground breaking in terms of features, but players can eventually build and run their own kingdoms! There are 5 classes to start with, mainly the Engineer, Destroyer, Swordsman, Witch, and Rogue. A total of 8 languages are prepared for the global server. Stay tuned!
