Korean developer NPIXEL today announced its ambitious plan to build a metaverse around its Gran Saga IP, a mobile + PC MMORPG which is now available in South Korea and Japan. Named as “Granverse,” the project will utilize blockchain technology and include DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) based games.
The first of these DAO games is Project Pixel, a sandbox game designed with 2D dot graphics using the Gran Saga IP and integrating NFT (Non-Fungible Token) into its art resources. More details to come soon, so stay tuned as the metaverse craze continues into 2022!
