Hypergryph, the creator of mobile sensation Arknights, today announced its first premium Buy-to-Play mobile game, Ex Astris. According to the official description, Ex Astris is a turn-based 3D RPG which happens on an alien planet in a civilization known as Xeno. Players will assume the role of a human citizen of Earth sent there for an unknown investigation, and henceforth the start of the adventure.
Basically, the whole adventureis like a road trip with different new friends met while traveling across the planet. The story will unfold linearly, with each chapter narrating a new event. The combat system uses a real-time turn-based format, where players can actively block, parry, and perform combo attacks even in the air. Players can also customize which active skills to use for each battle.
As Hypergryph mentioned, Ex Astris is actually now still in the prototype phase with more features such as new maps, life skills, non-linear character progression paths still being planned. 3 characters will form a team, and what you see now are just 2 finalized ones with 4 more confirmed to be introduced soon.
