First announced back in March, Time Defenders is a strategy mobile title from Korean developer Vespa Inc, more well-known for being the creator of mobile RPG King’s Raid. While Time Defenders uses the same anime-style of design, the genre this time is actually a hybrid of tower defense and RPG, made popular in the country by Arknights.
As Vespa started pre-registration for Time Defenders in Japan, more details were also revealed, such as the overall storyline and having 70 unique characters to collect. If you could not already tell, these characters will act as the “towers”, each belonging to a different category and armed with unique abilities. Yes, there is gacha involved.
