Nexon announced earlier today that i has obtained the global publishing rights (other than Japan and China) for NAT Games’ anime mobile RPG, Blue Archive. While NAT Games is now a subsidiary of Nexon, internally they would still have to discuss publishing duties, just like how Neople is now self-publishing Dungeon & Fighter globally. Blue Archive is published in Japan by Yostar.
A representative from Nexon claimed that they have recognized the rapid global and domestic (Korea) growth of “subculture”, which basically means anime stuff, and hence the decision to sign Blue Archive. Under Yostar, the game obtained top 10 in both App Store and Google Play for top grossing.
