Bandai Namco recently announced a new mobile game based on the popular anime series, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, titled 転生したらスライムだった件 魔王と竜の建国譚 which roughly translated to Tensura: Demon King and Dragon’s Kingdom Building Tale. Yes, the long names these days get on our nerves as well. As you can interpret from the title, it is about players building their own kingdoms.
The idea for the game came from how Rimura, the story’s protagonist, built the kingdom known as Tempest from scratch where all races can live in harmony. Players will not be able to construct a kingdom immediately, and time is needed starting from a small village. According to Bandai Namco, the game will also feature a unique story overseen by creator Fuse. It is scheduled to launch in Japan this year, so stay tuned!
