Publisher Yostar Inc (of Arknights fame) recently announced the Japanese launch date for Blue Archive, which is confirmed for 4 February 2021. An anime waifu mobile RPG developed by Korean developer NAT Games (Overhit, V4), Blue Archive features 4 different factions (Abydos, Gehenna, Millennium, Trinity) and each consisting of different female students empowered with unique abilities.
In Blue Archive, players will assume the role of a teacher and “lead the students in solving various incidents that occur in the city.” Originally known as Project MX, it was mentioned that the game is headed by a respected veteran who previously worked on Mabinogi. Japan is the first stop for Blue Archive, and there is currently no other confirmed launch regions. Stay tuned for updates!
