Smilegate Megaport, the publisher of the hit mobile game Epic Seven, recently announced it has signed a publishing contract (no regions announced) for a new game titled Outer Plane (tentative title). Developer VA Games was founded in 2019 by members who worked on the PC MMORPG Closers, with deep knowledge in cartoon rendering technologies.
Outer Plane is currently described as a “turn-based RPG with 3D cartoon rendering, mixing in elements of 2D animation and maximizing splendid skill combos and action combat by linking skills between characters.” More details on Outer Plane will be revealed by Smilegate Megaport and VA Games next year. No screenshots or artwork yet, so stay tuned!
