We had to double check our sources after first receiving this news, but it is indeed not a rumor. It was announced that mobile game KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World! Fantastic Days, based on the popular anime/ light novel known affectionally as KonoSuba, has found a global publisher! Nexon will be launching the game in Korea and global markets sometime next year. KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World! Fantastic Days has actually launched in Japan and Taiwan earlier this year, but we were not able to try out the game due to strict IP restrictions for both servers (VPN didn’t help).
In partnership with Kadokawa, and developer Sumzap, KonoSuba: Fantastic Days, follows the original storyline with original characters from the anime. In addition, all new exclusive characters created solely for the game will be featured, along with new unique stories. Japanese voice actors Jun Fukushima and Sora Amamiya will also be reprising their roles from the anime series as Kazuma and Aqua, respectively. Initially released in Japan in Feb 2020, the game has gained massive success and positive response from fans receiving regular updates with new characters, storylines and events continually being added.
