Back in 2018, Korean developer Pearl Abyss won plaudits for its comprehensive employee benefits package with an emphasis on staff well-being. Today, it announced several new benefits as part of the expanded welfare system, which includes housekeeping, pets, and anniversaries/ birthdays. Pearl Abyss is also set to move into a new building next year!
- Household Cleaning Support – This is for employees who are single and living alone. Once a month, Pearl Abyss will work with a cleaning company to tidy up and clean the house, including washing of dishes, tidying of beds, bathroom cleaning, and garbage disposal etc.
- Companion Animal Insurance Support – This scheme is for single or married employees with cats or dogs, up to 3 per employee. Medical fees, including outpatient and hospitalization, is subsidized by Pearl Abyss.
- Anniversary and Birthday – Currently already available, the birthday benefits are expanded to include spouse’ parents, siblings, as well as siblings’ children. For anniversaries, a gift basket worth up to USD 85.00 can be ordered.
