GigaBash was first announced by developer Passion Republic Games back last year, but here’s a refresher. Passion Republic is the Malaysian team which participated in projects such as League of Legends, Mortal Kombat 11, Nier: Automata and most recently, The Last Of Us: Part II. GigaBash is the company’s first unique IP, a kaiju-inspired arena brawler. Kaiju is the Japanese terms used to describe monsters such as Godzilla and King Kong. The term appears in movies such as Pacific Rim as well. Here is the teaser trailer for GigaBash!
According to the official description, GigaBash is an arena brawler featuring giant monsters (and heroes) battling it out in exotic places around the world. 4 players control unique giants inspired by classic monsters and cause mayhem in various destructible arenas.
