Brown Dust, the tactical RPG published by Neowiz, is back again with another massive update and tons of free rewards for returning players. In the largest content drop since the hit mobile game’s launch, the Companion Update brings a whole new level of customization and progression to the battlefield. The new Companion units, each of whom are bonded to a unique Mercenary and obtainable through recruitment methods already familiar to players, raise the Skill Level Cap of their assigned counterpart from +10 to +15.
Furthermore, as they grow in power and change appearance based on their level, their lore and backstory will also become available to players.. Utilizing the accompanying Fate system, players will be able to obtain the initial Companion for each Mercenary without spending any resources. In addition, Neowiz have listened to player feedback since launch and are increasing the pull rates for Mercenaries and Companions. An ever-increasing amount of Mercenaries and Companions is also being added regularly into Brown Dust!
There is no more struggle to spend dozens of scrolls only to get nothing players were hoping for. Chance-Up Banners will now 100% guarantee a ★5 Companion following a predetermined number of attempts. This is much like a “pity system” as players call it.
CELEBRATING 500 DAYS OF GLOBAL BROWN DUST
During the months of July and August, players completing Event Missions can exchange collected materials for up to three Companions, as well as receive log-in rewards, including a free ★5 Mercenary. What’s more, beginning July 18th, in order to mark Brown Dust’s 500th day since launching in Japan (or since the Global launch), new and veteran players on any server can log-in to receive a ★5 Random Mercenary, Diamonds, and more!
A special 500th Day Package, granting a ★5 Skill Book, Premium Scrolls, Honor Points, Red Slimes, and more, will be available in the Diamond store from July 17-30th to all players.
