Chain Chronicle – Tate no Yuusha invades Japan server of mobile RPG

Despite the demise of the global server a few years back, Chain Chronicle is still thriving in its home of Japan under the guidance of developer SEGA. Last week, it was announced during the game’s anniversary show that a cross-over event will be held with the popular anime series, Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari, starting from June 12th (11:00) to June 27th (10:59) local time. This is awesome as the cross-over storyline with Chain Chronicle is supervised by Aneko Yusagi, creator of the Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari light novel series!

6 characters from Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari will make appearances in Chain Chronicle during the cross-over event, including the 3 leads Naofumi Iwatani (the Shield Hero), Raphtalia, and Filo. As seen in the images below, they are all of the SSR rarity. The other 3 are do not have prominent roles currently in the anime series, including Rishia Ivyred (SR), Glass (SSR), and L’arc Berg (SR). If we read correctly, Glass is given out free to all players if an event tweet is being retweeted at least 4,000 times. It is now at over 6,000 retweets!
