Bandai Namco Entertainment recently announced a new game in the beloved “Tales of” series, titled Tales of Crestoria. The predecessors must be performing really well on the mobile platform, as I recall there is certainly a new “Tales of” mobile game every few months. No matter, Bandai Namco revealed Tales of Crestoria is a “totally original” game, with the project’s aim being to kickstart a new “Tales” legacy on the mobile platform. As expected, Tales of Crestoria is a Free-to-Play adventure with in-app purchases at launch.
Only 2 teaser trailers are now available, but it seems that Tales of Crestoria will be more gritty than the previous titles based on its initial presentation. The details and identities of the protagonists, and I presume the 3rd being the main antagonist, will be revealed on 13 and 20 September. Just a note, Tales of Crestoria is actually developed by KLab, the studio behind games such as Bleach: Brave Souls, Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team, and Love Live! School idol festival. No launch schedule was announced, so stay tuned for more updates!
