Tencent recently announced over 20 new games at its annual Tencent UP event, and Red Alert Online was one of them. Based on the classic Command & Conquer: Red Alert series of military strategy PC games, Red Alert Online is actually a mobile real-time strategy title. Of course, Tencent has officially licensed the IP (from EA we guess) to develop the game.
Players will see the return of Yuri, along with many familiar units and structures. There is aerial and naval combat as well! Adding in elements of simulation games (SLG), it seems players can attack other bases, similar to games such as Game of War and Mobile Strike. Tencent has announced that Red Alert Online will be “meeting with the players” this July.
