PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds – A brief tour of the new PUBG Seoul headquarters
BY now, gamers all around the world would have played, tried, or heard of the game known as PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, otherwise known as PUBG. The game recently entered version 1.0, and hit 3 million concurrent players (number of players online at the same time) on just the Steam platform last week. Also, a third of all gamers visiting PC bangs in South Korea are playing the game as well. Korean media outlet Inven visited the office of PUBG Corp in Seoul, which is a new setup spawned out of parent company Bluehole to handle all aspects of the widely popular battle royale. There are 160 employees in total, with around 40 more overseas under PUBG Corp. 2018 will be a big year to expand PUBG!
