Developed by South Korean studio, Neople (Dungeon Fighter Online), Ghost in the Shell Online entered its first Closed Beta phase last week. As the team’s first ever online shooter, gamers were curious how it would turn out. I would say Neople had garnered experience through its popular third person MOBA, Cyphers, as Ghost in the Shell Online looks pretty neat in the videos shown here.
As expected for a Closed Beta, not all features were available, but the luck selected gamers did have a good look at both the Team Death Match and Demolition PVP maps. The story campaign mode should be tested in the next phase. Reports were claiming Ghost in the Shell will be brought to North America next, under Nexon as well.
