Epic Games is having an epic time at Games Developer Conference (GDC) 2015, as the developer announced that Unreal Engine is now free to use for all users. Along with this announcement, a new trailer was revealed to showcase new projects made by Unreal Engine (not necessarily Unreal Engine 4), with the new and stunning Korean MMORPG, Lost Ark, being featured.
Other online games I could make out include the popular MOBA title, SMITE; upcoming Korean mech shooter Project HON; and Lionhead Studio’s epic adventure, Fable Legends. With the Unreal Engine now free of any subscriptions, I am hoping the gaming industry (especially online gaming) will be revitalized with awesome new projects. Unreal products do look really good.
