[Kickstarter page] A few weeks back, Japanese developer CyberConnect launched a Kickstarter campaign for its new online game, CosmicBreak 2. A rather popular anime shooter games, the funding was planned to build infrastructure for a global server. The crowd funding initiative has just gathered nearly $75,000 with 11 hours left at the point of writing, falling short of the $150,000 goal.
Players were saying the original game was rather “cash heavy”, perhaps one of the reason why the hefty goal was not met. Still, getting the game on Steam would be a good choice to cut back on some costs. The Japanese version of CosmicBreak 2 remains unaffected, as Closed Beta will begin later this month from 25 March till 31 March. The official launch is scheduled for this summer.
