Once known as Viper Circle, Black Squad is the latest online shooter to officially launch in South Korea under Neowiz’s Pmang platform. Developed by NS Studio, the creator of Dizzel, it was announced recently the game has been signed for the Thailand market by domestic publisher I Digital Connect.
Crafted using Unreal Engine 3, the game is currently being marketed as “the original FPS”. There are many different modes and guns, but apparently it is a massively upgraded version of CrossFire, according to various media outlets. As Neowiz used to be the publisher of CrossFire until a huge dispute with developer Smilegate, it seems Neowiz is trying its former CrossFire players.
