With Nexon America focused on publishing Western-developed titles, Nexon Korea has been on the offensive in signing new games for the domestic market as well. The latest game to join Nexon’s stable is AIMA, an action MMORPG developed by KOG, maker of Grand Chase and Elsword.
AIMA held its Closed Beta phase in Korea last year, but went silent after that. The signing with Nexon must make KOG very happy, and definitely gave me a surprise. AIMA is currently scheduled for launch next year, though an appearance at G-Star 2014 later this month is not confirmed.
