Announced earlier this year, Fate/ Grand Order is an upcoming mobile game for iOS and Android launching this coming winter in Japan. The game is known as a reboot for “Fate Online Project”, a cancelled MMO game which instead became the light novel series known as Fate/Apocrypha.
As seen from the key art, there will be 3 main female characters. Saber (Servant of the Sword) is the series’ mainstay, along with the flag-bearing Ruler (Joan of Arc), who appeared in the Fate/Apocrypha light novel. On the left, the unnamed character is apparently the “Servant of the Shield”.
