The first 2 of 8 upcoming new clans (or schools) are arriving in the China server of Age of Wushu on 29th September, and the developer has released some screenshots about each’s clan environment. The Ancient Tomb Sect should be familiar, with it appearing in various wuxia novels over the years.
Perhaps the most famous novel would be Return of the Condor Heroes, where the female protagonist, Little Dragon Girl, hails from. The environment design found in Age of Wushu will remain true to the original settings, with an underground, maze-like base filled with mysteries.
The Ancient Tomb Sect, similar to the Palace of Moving Flowers, generally accepts only female characters. However, male characters who are just and upright will some times get an invitation… Yang Guo was once a disciple here, and there seems to be a training room with a giant condor…
The Blood Saber Sect (or clan) is the pinnacle of evil, with the whole sect filled with bloodthirsty villains. To enter the clan, players must slay other innocent characters to prove their skills and evil nature. It is said that every clan member will carry a coffin to strike fear into the masses.
