[Game website] Having played the first Closed Beta phase for Black Gold Online’s China server some months back, I was actually disappointed when “action combat” was used to market the game, when it is really not. While the English server continues using the term, a better explanation was given.
Some important parts in the article include “aims at combining accepted concepts with a twist of intense action” and “most skills in Black Gold Online are collision, or hit box based”. It basically means many skills will require accurate targeting instead of auto-locked at an enemy.
Normal combat is still the traditional point-and-click system, so do not expect to see “action combat” like the ones found in TERA and Dragon Nest. I am not sure how the community is interpreting “action combat”, but I wouldn’t really put this label on Black Gold Online.
