While some readers may see Tencent Games only publishing foreign games such as League of Legends, Blade & Soul and ArcheAge for its success, the company also has several self-developed titles as well. The more recent eye-catching one goes to Moonlight Blade, based on a popular novel.
As seen in the video above, Moonlight Blade will feature an active 4 seasons, including various martial arts/ wuxia concepts and a huge open world with non-target action combat. The 2nd test phase will begin in September.
More details on Moonlight Blade can be found in my previous posts. Unfortunately, Tencent Games seldom license its games out overseas, especially for the English marker, so it remains to be seen if China’s biggest online gaming company by a far stretch is willing to change its policy.
