According to an employee feedback on Glassdoor.com via Kotaku, Blizzard Entertainment is portrayed as sort of an “evil corporation” which is filled with politics and are “forced” to crunch without overtime pay. Of course, the following is just from 1 employee, others may have a much better work experience there.
I personally know folks who worked in Blizzard before, and got almost the same comments, mostly about the politics and how senior management with no development experience works hard to influence all projects. The report has various feedback about other game companies as well, and it is an awesome read.
