While it will be a couple of weeks before the new version of ArcheAge is shown at Tencent Games Carnival 2011 (link), the MMO giant has not taken the liberty to invite China gamers to apply for a VIP account for ArcheAge. Registration is done via a lengthy online survey form, phone interviews and a written interview at TGC 2011.
Do note that this is a permanent VIP account event, meaning they will enjoy all the extra perks for free forever. Since the business model is not out for ArcheAge China, I doubt the VIP accounts will get free game time if it is a Pay to Play scheme. Too good to be true? If only this was open to overseas gamers, I would have signed up in a heartbeat…
