Following the announcement made a few days ago, rumors are rampant within the Korean gaming industry on which of 2K Games’ title will be developed as an online game. Various Korean media outlets have been reporting that a well-placed industry source hinted that since the Facebook version, called Civilization World is being developed, a full-fledged MMO version might not be too far away from being realized. The secret project, codenamed X3, will apparently be made public before the year ends, with XL Games having started on the game since a year back. XL Games refused to comment to the rumors and claimed that the company is now focusing on ArcheAge, the company’s maiden title.
