On 10th July, Korean developer, Dragonfly, made a huge announcement. The studio will be teaming up with gaming giant Activision to develop a MMOFPS based on the hit console franchise, Soldier of Fortune (which was continued by 2 sequels). Dragonfly is fast garnering rave reviews for their works, including Quake Wars Online, KARMA: Operation Barbarossa, Soldier Front and Special Force.
With a brand new graphics engine used, Soldier of Fortune Online is aiming at a more realistic experience for the gamers, including more vital weakness points on the limbs. After reading the teaser announcement, it seems like the game will bring violent to a whole new level no MMOFPS has ever done. Do note that it will be classified as a M18 game.
