First announced back in 2009, this CryEngine 3-developed title is finally ready to enter Closed Beta 1, which will be held from 23rd January onwards. Touted as the “Asian WoW”, the aesthetics are 100% full of Asian design flair, with myths and legends from the region infused into the game.
Taking a leaf from Guild Wars 2, players may participate in killing world bosses without partying up. The first PvP mode introduced is based on the war between the 2 factions on a 10 Vs 10 scale. There will be 2 different maps, with 1 more focused on strategy while the other on making the right choices due to its many paths.
Asta: The War of Tears and Winds has taken part in several Western game conventions thus far, and it is an open secret Hangame is looking for a suitable publisher. Whether a deal has been signed remains to be seen, for now.
