According to the Chinese media, a female China player recently became the first player in ArcheAge Korea to successfully construct the first trading ship. Currently in Open Beta, ArcheAge currently hosts tons of foreign players despite the apparent IP block and tough authentication process. This player, Miya, belongs to a guild call “Speed” and has since been interviewed by several games websites.
Miya’s world first achievement also led to an upcoming NPC being named after her on a permanent basis. Having played the Korean server since CBT 4 in December 2011, she talked about her fond memories playing with the many Korean and Russian players.
She mused that everyone worked together through several translators, and a Korean player even designed the castle using a 3D design software. The players then built the castle together, with the structure proving ingenious as they went on to claim 3 successful defense against enemy attacks.
Her experience soured during CBT 5 when the Korean guilds ganged up against the foreign ones, but that didn’t stop her from continuing to play the game.
