[Source] For those familiar with the lore of Elder Scrolls, you will most probably have heard of the Emperor. In The Elder Scrolls Online, players who have become the Emperor will gain a permanent skill line, although the skills will be less effective once the position is taken by others.
To get to the cool position and obtain the armor seen above, players will have to do tons of PvP and conquer keeps to gain more Alliance Points. The Alliance member with the most points is crowned Emperor. The Elder Scrolls Online will launch Friday, April 4, 2014 for PC and Mac players.
