After being in service for 1 year and 9 months, Gravity has announced that Ragnarok Online 2 will be shutting down in Korea on 23rd December 2013, which is late next month.
Gravity also claimed that the current services in North America and Southeast Asia “will not be affected” by the closure. The main reason of the closure is down to the lack of players.
Update: The notice includes the developer’s aim to try and find the “right direction” for Ragnarok Online 2, and hopefully revive it in the future.
