Gala-Net, more commonly known as gPotato, has been reported to acquire a 3-year rights to publish SevenCore (English) in 2010, with service areas including USA, Europe, South America and Japan (Japanese server). gPotato will be really busy in the coming months, with games like Iris Online, Project 9, Allods Online and this (I think I left out a few more).
SevenCore is the first MMORPG developed by Noria, which is made up of ex-Webzen (MU, SUN) staff. The main feature of the game is the Riding Action function. First, think of the many mounts found in World of Warcraft. Then the flying combat (PvE and PvP) found in Aion. Add in mounted battles even in the sea, and you will get the core feature of SevenCore – mounted battles on land, in the air and bottom of the sea. Mounts in the game are not only for decorative purposes, they grow together with players, learn skills and attacks.
There are 3 main civilizations in SevenCore: Zion, Brutus and Nuuk. The artwork above shows the (from left) female Nuuk, male Brutus and male Xion. As you might have guessed, they are at war with each other, hence the battle for conquering lands. There will also be no fixed classes, just choosing between melee or ranged and choose from a variety of spells the way players like.
The game is currently still in development (there’s not even a Korean site yet), so more information will be posted as its slowly revealed.
