In just 2 days, the China-exclusive Monster Hunter Online will be entering a new Predatory Test phase. Other than new maps and monsters, other features such as farming, fishing, mining, herbs cultivation, and more will be added. These will no doubt add another dimension to the combat-intensive title.
The latest monster to be introduced will be the Blue Yian Kut-Ku, which is a giant bird monster found in a couple of previous Monster Hunter titles. Throwing out fireballs, dash and beak attacks are some of the more significant moves in its arsenal.
According to reports, Blue Yian Kut-Ku will react differently according to the surrounding sounds picked up by its sensitive sense of hearing. A certain natural “rhythm” will cause it to enter a rage mode, dealing much more damage.
